Digital Innovation in Mental Health (DIMH) and The Centre for Global Mental Health are teaming up to host a lunchtime Design Jam on Mental Health Technology Solutions for Low & Middle Income Countries (LMICs):
How can we increase access to mental health support for people in low to middle income countries, who represent some of the world's most marginalised populations?
Is there a place for digital solutions in 'task-shifting'?
What is a Design Jam:
A design jam is an interactive workshop where experts from diverse backgrounds collaborate and leverage their collective wisdom in order to create innovative, multidisciplinary solutions to complex problems.
Participants:
Participation is open to leading international experts in neuroscience, psychiatry, public health, policy, AI, digital, deep tech, funding and related fields.
Agenda:
The event begins with brief talks by experts in global mental health. Participants are then divided into interdisciplinary teams and guided through an ideation process to build their own solutions to a global mental health issue of their choice.
Lunch is provided and you will have the opportunity to pitch your solutions to a panel of judges during a drinks reception at the close of the DIMH conference.
