Jon is a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He has worked as a medical manager in the NHS and independent sector in different medical director roles. Jon was promoted to the Group Medical Director role for Cygnet Health Care in January 2020, after joining Cygnet as Regional Medical Director for the South and London area. In 2023, he was elected as Chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists General Adult Faculty Executive Committee and Chair of Chairs (all Faculties in 2024. Jon has also been co-chair of the RCPsych GAF Co-Production Network.

Jon’s main interests include co-production, service improvement, digital transformation and large scale change management within healthcare settings. In his spare time, he likes to explore new places, go hiking, and is a PADI approved Open Water Scuba diver.
