Mark Embrett, PhD, is a Health Systems Impact Fellow at Canada Health Infoway where he applies his research skills to support research of digital health interventions in Canada, then communicating evidence to various audiences. Infoway is a federal non-profit, non-government organization that serves as Canada’s national leader in digital health solutions. His primary pursuit at Infoway is to improve access to e-mental health services for Canadians through their public health system. With over 10 years’ experience in interdisciplinary health policy research, Mark also endeavors to understand the arrangements of healthcare systems and their impact on a variety of prevalent health policy problems such as equity, access, and efficiency. Mark has co-investigated and led independent, local, and national research projects in mental health and interdisciplinary care. A PhD graduate from McMaster University’s Health Policy Program and Dalhousie University’s Masters in Applied Health Services Research, Mark has demonstrated his skills by receiving local and national funding grants, publishing research in high-end scientific journals, and presenting at various international conferences.
