Kfir is a senior lecturer in the computer science department of The College of Management in Israel. He has spent many years working in a wide range of natural language processing (NLP) disciplines, including statistical machine translation, machine learning, language generation and NLP for mental health. Kfir is also the Chief Scientist of Basis Technology, investigating and developing tools for processing text written in many languages. Kfir is an external lecturer at Tel Aviv University and IDC in Israel, where he teaches courses in computer science, digital humanities and NLP. Kfir holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Tel Aviv University for a thesis on Semantics and Machine Translation.
