I explore the impact of a crisis on communication and how rapid mobilisation of video-based art therapy in mental health community services opened new doors to understanding how we can reach those people that are less likely to access psychological help. I argue that in today’s world we should be thinking about all people whose health may be severely impacted on by COVID-19, not only the majority. This can be achieved by providing a range of care options. Tele-arts therapies during COVID-19 has demonstrated the importance of broadening the offer to provide increased accessibility and acceptability of mental health practice across a range of commnities.

Quantifying emotional changes during COVID-19
