Orla Macdonald is a specialist psychiatric pharmacist with 17 years of experience working within the mental health speciality and is a credited member of the College of Mental Health Pharmacy. Orla is based at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, where she is the Lead Research Pharmacist for her trust and for the Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre; a nationally accredited organisation hosted between Oxford Health and the University of Oxford, Department of Psychiatry. Orla is a member of the Oxford precision psychiatry lab and has helped to develop guidelines on digital consultation in mental health with this group. She is also a member of the Early intervention team in Oxford and therefore regularly meets patients who are recovering from their first episode of psychosis.
