Dr Waqar Hussain is a Research Fellow affiliated with HumaniSE lab. Waqar leads a small but passionate team of software engineers that aims to develop Ethically-Aligned software technology – that is, in a world in which Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) systems increasingly make decisions previously made by humans, how can we ensure that values of fairness, trust, privacy, and security are embedded in the technology? Dr Waqar’s expertise lies in qualitative research and industrial case studies. His research interests include Global Software Engineering, Requirements Change Management, Agile, and (Global) DevOps.
