Stevie Chancellor is the CS + X Postdoctoral Fellow in Computer Science at Northwestern University. Her research lies in human-centered approaches to machine learning and data science to understand online communities and risky mental health behaviors. Her work sits between human computer interaction, applied machine learning, and online communities. Her work and insights have been featured in The Atlantic, Wired, Buzzfeed, and Gizmodo. She recently received her PhD in Human-Centered Computing at Georgia Tech, and she will start as an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota in 2021.
